Aaliyah Dana Haaughton gained notoriety after she released her first album Age Ain't Nothing But A Number in the year 1994. Her album, which was made available at just 15 years old was certified Gold. This collaboration was highly inspired by R. Kelly, and helped put her in the spotlight. Although she began her acting career with minor TV and film roles her acting career gained growth in the latter half of 2000s. Other notable work includes Grey's Anatomy, Suits and Leverage. The actress has been featured in commercials for big companies like the international auto manufacturer Volvo. Her acting career continues with her home in Los Angeles, where she lives with her son and husband.
