Suzanne Pleshette was an American actress and voice-over artist. She had over one hundred credits in her almost five-decade career. Pleshette began her career in New York and began her acting career on stage. Later she decided to gradually move to the big screen. Her most well-known films are 'Rome Adventure', 'The Birds', 'Fate Is the Hunter','If It's Tuesday, This Must Be Belgium and "Support Your Local Gunfighter". In addition to her film roles, she has played numerous TV films and television shows. Pleshette has been nominated four times for Emmy Awards and twice for Golden Globe Awards. After being nominated two times, Pleshette won the Laurel Award in 1963 for her film 'The Birds'. Pleshette died in 2008 and was given an honorary Star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
