Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder, professionally Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. The parents of her daughter named her in honor of her hometown. Her father Michel Horowitz, and mother Cynthia Palmer are authors and editors. Ryder's father was born into an ethnically Jewish family. Ryder considers her self Jewish. The actress is the youngest sister of Uria who is half-sibling to Jubal and Sunyata. At the age of seven, Ryder was just seven, her family moved into Mendocino County California. They didn't have electricity. Ryder was an avid reader who spent all of her time studying books since she was not able to watch TV. In 1983 when she was twelve, Ryder was accepted into the American Conservatory Theatre to take classes in acting. In 1986 she landed her first film role the movie Lucas aged just fifteen years old. Ryder was bullied in the school she attended. Her performance career, as she had hoped she would be able to assist her. Sadly that didn't happen. But she kept working towards her ambitions. In 1988, she got her big break in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder kept playing successful roles in numerous films. The actor won two Academy Awards were nominated, one for The Age of Innocence (1996).
