Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder is the professional brand name of Winona Laura Hoowitz who was born within Winona Minnesota. The parents of her daughter named her on her home town. Michel Horowitz was her father and Cynthia Palmer, his mother was both an author and editors. Ryder is Jewish. Ryder believes that her father came from her Jewish family. Ryder has two half-siblings younger than her, Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder moved with her family members to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. There they didn't have electricity. Ryder was an avid reader who spent all of her time reading books as she had no TV. Ryder, then 12, attended the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in the year 1983. She landed her debut role on the big screen in 1986, after she turned 15 years young. Ryder was bullied at high school. Ryder hoped her acting career would alter her life. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. But she kept working towards the goals she had set for herself. Ryder made her breakthrough with Tim Burton's Beetlejuice in the year 1988. Ryder continued to play successful roles in several movies. In 1993, she was nominated twice for Academy Awards. One of which was for her character as a character in The Age of Innocence.
