Jillian Noel Hennely was born 25 November in 1968. She is an accomplished Canadian actress and performer who has made a significant contribution to American TV. The show has been highly praised for her outstanding performances in the American TV show Law & Order in which she as Claire Kincaid as a prosecutor for three seasons, and Crossing Jordan, wherein she played Jordan Cavanaugh the main character for six years. Hennessy has also demonstrated her acting prowess in films like RoboCop 3 Most Wanted and independent movies Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class, where she also flexed her writing and co-directing muscles. Hennessy began her acting career along with her sister in 1988 playing two call-girls in Dead Ringers. In 1990, she appeared as a guest on Broadway on Broadway as Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. Her next move was into science-fiction and was Dr. Marie Lazarus (RoboCop 3) in 1993. In the autumn of that year, she joined in the ensemble cast of the NBC hit crime-drama Law & Order in the part of the assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid.
